left-side cases?

because of the layout of my home office, my computer has to be on the left side of my desk, about an inch away from the wall.

it's all well and good except that if I were to get a new case that utilized side fans, there wouldn't be much breathing room over there. and I really wanted to buy a new case with a window, but again, doesn't do me much good if the only one that can see it is the wall. :hmm:

do any companies make cases where the motherboard is mounted on the left side? seems like every computer case I've ever owned as had the mobo mounted on the right.

Your best best is to make use of one of the crazy Lian Li cases or even the Silverstone bottom intake style cases. Sorry for your European problem lol 😉

Check out lots of Lian Li cases. Many of them are reverse ATX (which is what you're looking for instead of saying "on the left"). This rotates the mobo 180 degress on both the X and Y axis so your expansion slots are at the top of the case.

The Silverstone FT02/Raven 02 both would qualify. Lian Li's old V1200/2000 would as well (not made anymore but can find them used fairly often). There are many other options as well. Just google "reverse atx cases"

Theres always the lanboy cases. modular case that lets you put anything and everything the way you need/want it.

Though i personally would drill out the fittings in my case and flip some stuff so itd be the way i want it. If i really needed to that is.
