When shooting for pool, or any stick based games, I use my left hand to move the stick, and right hand for support: is that left handed?

I'd call that lefty.

Just like joysticks. All the good ones are made for right handed people. The ones with throttles are even worse :(

My girl "friend" was left handed when she was growing up. Then her dad MADE her use her right hand. I think it worked out for the best in this right hand world. I am right handed btw.

And then shake others' hands with it.

I'm left handed. The only problems I've had with ink smear is when I write with a pen with erasible ink. Like someone else said in this topic, you learn to adapt in a right hander's world. I started playing the guitar about 7 months ago and determined I was going to learn how to play right-handed, seeing as paying an extra 20% for a left-handed guitar wasn't going to fly with me. Now I play pretty decently on a right-handed guitar. I think it actually helps because my fretting hand is my dominant hand.

Other than that, the only other thing I do with my right hand is use a mouse.

I write and throw right handed but golf and bat left handed.

I agree...finding left handed golf clubs BLOWS.

Oh man, forgot about that. I hate the ink smear all over your hand.

I write left-handed and eat left-handed. Although I can write in cursive right-handed because I broke my left arm in 2nd grade. I play table tennis left-handed. I play tennis right-handed. I used to serve right-handed and hit left-handed though. I was a switch-hitter in baseball but threw right-handed. I shoot right-handed in basketball. That's about it.

I do that. Everything is right handed except throwing.

How many of you lefites use the mouse on the right side of the keyboard? I do; but, my lefthanded friend has his mouse on the leftside of his keyboard.

Left handed life isn't really that bad... I run into few problems.

My biggest problem may be not being able to use alot of pens because of smearing. I hardly call that life altering.

Oh yea, I forgot to mention that problem as well.

The only downside is that we have to use pens that use inks that dry quickly (which means that you can't use fountain pens, or rollerball pens).

I like how fountain pens write, but to use them, I have to use an awkward position where I curve my hand over the top to write, so that my wrist won't smear the ink, and hopefully, if/when my lower arm passes over the ink, it's dry.

But mostly, I just don't use anything that doesn't dry quickly.

I started writing backwards. Like from the other side of the page with the letters mirrored. It's just as easy to read, the only hard part was retraining my fingers. Seriously though, it works, if you're ever bored, I'd suggest doing it. It's almost like switching to dvorak.

I am thinking about selling some left handed shoes though.. har har har.. ::taps microphone:: is this thing on?

Left:
- Writing
- Brushing Teeth
- Eating
- Fine, meticulous work that requires detail

Right:
- Everything sports related (except throwing a frisbee or ping-pong, go figure)
- Playing guitar

I consider myself a lefty.

Maybe I should break my kids arm when he's that age? That sounds like a good ability to have. Hm..

I'm left handed and about the only thing I do with my right hand is use my mouse,
its that useless to me.

I forced this because you don't see ergonomic mice for lefties
