Left bicep has been twitching for 2 days now... wth?!

Night before last I was lying in bed on my back, and my left bicep just started to twitch... I thought maybe it was just a momentary tick, but now almost 2 days later, it's still going.

Doesn't hurt, doesn't interfere w/ typing, no weakness in the arm... it just flexes/contracts every couple of seconds.

Could this be a sign of something serious?

It's probably just due to lack of sleep. I get twitches all the time, I basically just ignore them now. My doctor told me it's due to lack of sleep, and when I get enough sleep, I don't get twitches.

Or maybe too much sleep? Starting Monday, I've slept at least 8 hrs a nite. This showed up on Wednesday.

I had the same thing with my Lats for about a month once. Now, it's my eye that twitches so I guess I'm fvcked either way.

After watching House M.D. on disc I can confidently state it is either termites, leprosy or muscle death.

Every organ, muscle, and joint of mine twitches from time to time, never hurts but it goes right away.. I also ignore it because I feel fine and am fairly healthy

Id get the thing checked out in case it could be serious. Maybe you are just getting muscle spasms which can last a while and then go away.

Lots of reasons, have you been working out really hard? And is it two days straight or sporadic?

Haven't done any exercise or heavy lifting... nothing out of my normal routine... and it's consistent... just twitches every couple of seconds w/ no breaks.

Kinda driving my insane since I'm so aware of it now.

I thought I recall reading somewhere that potassium deficencies (as well as other vitamin deficencies) cause this

It's African Sleeping Sickness, though. It's in the first phase.

The CIA has planted nanobots in your homes ventilation system, and they are hacking into your brain.

On the plus side, you will soon have superhuman strength and infrared vision.

Check your immediate area for black helicopters or unmarked vans. THEY are beaming electrical impulses inductively into your nervous system in an attempt to physically control you. If you see anything suspicious, build a Faraday cage large enough to live in for a while...
