Just went up on XBL. Nothing at Major Nelson's site yet though. Can't wait to try this out tonight.

QFT!

my 360 is off, but hooked up to the net...we need a WOL service for those guys ^_^

You won't be able to start downloading, but come Nov. 19th you'll at least be able to queue it.

ps3 owns the 360 in this department.

If you're ballsy enough to leave your 360 on all the time, you can queue it up from work and it'll download immediately and be ready for when you get home.

Will the PS3 start downloading things you've queued, even if it's turned off?

I didn't even know the PS3 had this capability. Where do you go to queue up downloads?

This game is an absolute blast. Shame my internet connection is acting chitty today and I can really only enjoy the single player.

if you have a PSP linked to your PS3, you can access your PS3's XMB, PSN Store included, from anywhere you can get your PSP on a wireless network.

So... can you initiate a download on your PS3 even if it's turned off?

if by "off" you mean in standby, yes. if by "off" you mean you have it hard switched to off on the back of the console, then no.

you can actually turn on your PS3 remotely from your PSP and browse the XMB and PSN store through your PSP.

That sounds pretty cool. Too bad it's limited to the PSP, though.

Ya, the fact that you have to purchase a $170 piece of hardware to do this makes me disagree with pur"e"beast's opinion that the PS3 "owns" the 360 in this regard.

Well I just tried it and im not sure if I like it or not. I only did computer players, so im sure with friends it would be better in that regard, but it also means you always need friends to play it to enjoy? Hm. I got a slight headache I think from it being so dark and the flashlight going all over when shooting. It was fun but I dont think i'll buy it, although amazon has a good deal on it

tried both PC and 360 versions. This is clearly a PC game. Never see anyone play team fortress 2 on live. It won't get new maps on 360 either. I preferred COD4 on 360 over the PC because it controls well with a gamepad.

Holy cow, I hope this game takes off online!!! Amazing!
I played GOW 2's Horde gametype for a few hours last night and thought THAT was fun. But this, this is on a whole notha level. Freakin zombies running at you in swarms in nice familiar environments with regular weapons. It's like playing 28 Days Later or Shawn of the Dead or something. I love it! Will definately be buying.
