They look very similar except that one is genuinely attractive and the other one is dumpy and very "blah" in 9/10 of the times I've seen her!

I've noticed that they look strikingly similar too. Sometimes I'll be flipping through the channels and see one and think it's the other. 😱 Then I change the channel before I drive myself nuts.
 
There was a great episode of Celebrity Deathmatch between the two because Helen Hunt was claiming that Leelee was ripping off her character.

Helen Hunt is very beautiful, is aging gracefully.

Leelee has the advantage of being young.

they are both very pretty, and yes they look alike.
 
When I first saw Deep Impact, I thought she was Hunt's daughter. The resemblence is striking. She looks like Hunt did back when she stared with Mathew Brodrick (sp?) in PROJECT X. (the smart crash test monkey movie)
