LED/switch headers on K7S5A?

I have a problem with the K7S5A when trying to plug in my power/HDD LED and case switches... there are not enough pins for me to put both the power LED and Power Button wires on... the diagram in the manual shows each taking up only two pins and filling the whole row, but for some reason the thingy on my power LED takes up three pins, so I can't fit both of the wires on one row (although the row has 4 pins instead of the 5 there are on the HDD/reset row... this looks intentional)

Hope that made any sense. Oh, and I have an Antec KS282 case. I hope someone can help me, I can't boot up this system w/o figuring this out first!

I have that board and an Antec case.. (but not right in front of me)

I think i remember:

Plug the PowerSW plug in so that it uses only one of the pins...

It'll boot but the Power LED wont work

Really? Man, that's pretty stupid of Antec (or ECS) not to follow the standard...

The power LED wire (the one with the three-pin input) doesn't seem to be using the middle pin though (grrr... what's the point of that 3-pin thingy then?). Is it safe to snip off that and then plug in the other two pins? Will it work as well?

I havent done this yet but I saw in the Official K7s5a thread part 2

Take a pin or needle and lift up the little tab keeping the connector in. Slide it out and put it in the right place

This is but a minor annoyance. You can do one of two things. You can cut the plug in half with very small, sharp scissors and plug the remaining two "single pin" plugs onto the two pins. Or, as mentioned also, you can use a straight pin and lift the black tab holding the metal tab in the plug. Then, with it lifted, you can pull the wire out of the plug and insert it into the next slot over. Either one works well and have been used by many. Your choice.

I just moved the green wire to the center hole. I have the antec case too. It's simple to do.
