Let's not forget now, this is only a preseason game... And 7 assists in 26 minutes isn't bad at all!
 
To play devils advocate - Kobe Bryant wasn't exactly phenominal in his preseason or even first year or two. Give him a few years to mature and he may find his stride with the big dogs.
 
He probably didn't have regular shifts either. It is still the pre-season, no reason to overwork players.

Yeah, but Kobe wasn't the #1 pick and nowhere NEAR hyped as much as Lebron. Big difference.
Kobe would have been much better if he had gone to college 2 years then entered the draft.....not necessarily money-wise, but as instant help to his team.
