i've lived in norcal my whole life too...

can you tell me something interesting to do here? heh

This summer has been pretty fun for me actually. Went to City Nights (San Francisco 18+ club) to dance, went to Six Flags Marine World (the dolphin show was the best attraction there...), and went to a bunch of baseball games.

BTW, I live in Walnut Creek (right next to concord), but a lot of my friends live in Concord and my dad works there. How old are you?

Do you ever go to Okearney's or Crogan's out there?

Forests? You should take a drive out through the Sierras...not the shortest drive you could take, but you'll see nice scenery nonetheless..

If you head near Santa Cruz, you can't leave without visiting The Mystery Spot

Also, Lake Tahoe isn't that far from SF, and the casinos on the nevada side are always a good time.

no, what are they? For the first 16 years of my life I didn't do much but use my computer, but I've gone out a bunch more the past 2 years and I'm always looking for new things to do

I went there and was dissapointed to see it was mostly for kids. It was just a bunch of neat little science displays. I dont feel it was worth my $12.

Golden Gate National Park rocks.. the bridge is sweet, and just walking around SF is fun.

Some nature, maybe? I like forests. I like military stuff, too. Hence why I'm going to San Diego, hoping to see a carrier in port or something

LOL -enjoy the six hour drive to San Diego. :)

6 hours drive from SF to SD?!?!? Just getting through LA traffic will take him 6 hours alone! Maybe he can make it shorter if he were to drive a big circle around LA area.. like taking the I-15.

If you come to San Francisco, bring a coat. It gets chilly when the fog comes in. Since you're in Concord, you'll be wearing normal summer wear. That means bring extra clothes for coastal travel, shorts and tank top for almost everything else.

If there's one thing I'm used to as a Canadian, it's chilly weather. Thanks for all the advice.

Now I just have to find a way to NOT get my laptop put through the X-ray machine at the airport :p

Jesus Guy, leave your computer at home and go and have a good time. If you absolutely need to post just drop by a library.

Oh..you must not be 21 yet??? They're both a bar/club type of place. Go there when you turn 21!! Crogan's is on Locust..right off Mt. Diablo....across the street from Pyramid's. Okearney's is by the Walnut Creek DMV. Both of them are fun to check out.
