let us know what you think.

my parents have fios and I hate it. their cable boxes suuuuck. I think they're switching back to comcast as soon as their promo rates are over.

nsfw

Send an email to comcast telling them to eat a bowl of previously ass fucked cocks on your way out.

I did that a long time ago. 😀

Edit: the switching from comcast to fios. not the assfucking cock thing...

I've been meaning to say this for a while: what is that avatar from? I find it disturbing.

It is from the cover of a King Crimson album. I don't listen to them, in fact, I didn't even know they existed until Hyabusa Rider pointed it out to me.

Enjoy your lower internet speeds and higher prices. You really showed them.

Heh. Comcast is faster... for about 30 seconds before they start throttling the shit out of their co-called "PowerBoost" speeds for large downloads. Keep downloading those large files, and they'll throttle you to even slower speeds that make low-end DSL look good in comparison.

Yeah, yeah, I know... how dare their users actually attempt to utilize their co-called "unlimited" bandwidth they were promised in the commercials. They should be a good little sheep and pony up $295 a month for a T1 line just to make network admins like yourself happy.

Man, I would LOVE to dump Comcast for cable as well... the prices they charge for their HD and DVR packages are obscene compared to a satellite subscription.

We'll see how the FIOS gamble pays off. Eitherway it's win for the customer. Go-go-gadget competition!

Enjoy Verizon's craptacular DVR. Twenty hours of HD recording and no expansion, YAY! 🙄

Can you back up the recordings to a computer? I assume almost all of them must be subject to DRM that makes them non-transferable/shareable. I'm curious what satellite/cable companies make transferring DVR recordings to a PC painless and easy. I know every TV show in existence hits torrents the day after the telecast - was curious how that works.

Get a Tivo + Mcard, problem solved

Edit: Oh dont forget Comcrap's lovely 250GB cap. Pure win!

250gb is more than enough even if you're a couch potato and stream Hulu plenty of hours of the day. 250gb is not enough if you download 1080p BD rips off Newsgroups at the rate of one every day... DUH.
