I left my batteries in my GBA for over 4 month's now, I just got virtua tennis, finally have a reason to use it. Seems to work fine, should I change the batteries or something. I heard that they melt if they are left in devices unused for a long time, is that a myth? It's stored in AC not left in the sun or anything.

Thanks in advance!

I remember when I was little having batteries corrode, but I haven't seen one corrode in probably a decade...

Melting is a myth. Draining whether the device is on or not is not a myth.

P.S. I thought you were banned long ago for your blatant and unstoppable trolling? Are you back? :disgust:

Corrosion is the only thing that I could see there being a problem with, but that wouldn't be caused by them just sitting in there. I'd be more concerned about the batteries' power being slowly drained.

Edit: hehe, great minds ;)

No I went to the UK for the summer (3 mon) didn't use a pc. Instead I went with my friend, and met up with his brother Max English the dj guy I was telling you about. Now all of us are making music and with his help, I have a good chance to get on his record label.

Unfortunately, I haven't had any time for pc stuff. I bought a new pc after I sold my dell, but I didn't use it in months because of music and college. I have spent thousands on music hardware alone. I'm also failing finite math because of it

So batteries don't corrode anymore? Thanks!

nope, but I dont' need your crappy warez anymore. I don't even use pc's anymore unless I have to use word. Good luck with stealing all those ps tutorials. Anyone else here think that i'm a dick because I sold my dell on ebay for a premium like you wouldn't have. What could I do if there is 30 people bidding on my item. I dont' think that there is a price limit on auctioning is there.

WTF are you talking about? Stealing PS tutorials!? LMFAO - there are lots available on the internet, why would I want to steal them and pass them around as warez!? HAHA! :D

I actually had a Rio MP3 player get toasted when I left the batteries sitting in it for about 8 months. The terminals were covered in crust and it corrupted the flash RAM in there somehow.

What? You do realize that Macromedia and Adobe products are probably the most pirated pieces of software out there besides Windows, right? And what's this about my shirt pocket??

man... some things never change.

Don't leave the batteries in there forever... just make sure they physically look okay. if they do, and work.. use 'em.

First of all, where did scalping come in to the conversation? So... I walk around with lots of burned copies of software in my pocket? Cool! I didn't even notice! But now I remember that. That was cool bringing stuff past security in my pockets. :)

nik, give it up look at who you're trying to reason with.

CasioTech defies all logic and common sense.

i left the batteries in my md player for maybe a month, and the batteries leaked and the terminals were a lilttle crusty...i was using energizer industrial alkalines

btw....if people are stupid enough to pay a certain price for a dell...thats their problem...your job is to get the most amount of cash someone is willing to pay

You'd better logoff and destroy all those warez which are sitting in your shirt pocket before the man comes after you.

That's what I love about this avatar is it's awesome shades but my Office Guy 6 keeps calling me back.

We need a new avatar, I'm sure that CasioTech can whip up something really awesome using his mad PS skills, whaddya think?

We can get LM to judge, should we do it?

I think Casiotech is on the 'Do not trade with' list for some shaddy happenings some time ago. He's been exhiled from FS/FT to OT, it would seem.
