PricklyPete had it right - tell her that you don't think dating co-workers is a good idea but now that's not an issue so you'd like to get to know her better. It's not that hard dude, and the best thing is if she says she's not interested you'll never have to see her again so it minimizes any chance of embarrassment.I mean to ask her out in a way that wouldn't her feel like I'm just doing this because I'm leaving...
