I mean to ask her out in a way that wouldn't her feel like I'm just doing this because I'm leaving... You know?
In this case, the end justifies the means, provided of course you dont actually sexually assault her. even if she's into that, wait until later that evening at least.

"Hey, you know I quit my job, right? Well, I was thinking about all the things I will miss about this place...and it made me realize that seeing you every day was what I'll miss the most. I've really enjoyed working with and getting to know you. Any chance you would like to go get a coffee or some dinner?"

How fecking hard is that??? Remember, if you never try you automatically fail.

Will you still work nearby? Any chance for a meet and catch up lunch or coffee a few weeks into the new job?

She lives in the same city so yeah.

Hell, just ask her out, worst she could do is stab you in the face with a letter opener, best case you get laid.

Yeah, asking her out just because you're leaving the job would be creepy.

Your best course of action would probably be to find out where she lives and park outside her home at night and on weekends, then follow her to find out where she goes. Bars, grocery stores, hair salon, relatives. Then "accidentally" bump into her a couple of time. Marvel at the coincidence, and try to laugh as you ask "What are the chances?"

Both of them get more dates than you in real life, that's not helpful.

dang it :/

i'd probably rate myself a 4/10. maybe 5/10 if someone looked at just my face at the exact right angle, but then 3/10 when i turn my head or they see the rest of my body.

Then you need to go to a bar and "go ugly" early

lol i've never heard that one before

actually i've never been to a bar before either :hmm:

That's a James Carville (the Democratic strategist) quote, I laughed my ass off, he kind of looks like a mutant, and said that's how he got lucky. If you do it, you don't have to drink, just order a soda, or maybe the beer goggles would help, I dunno, I think I got lucky once in a bar, I'm kind of deaf, can't understand a damn thing in a bar.
