This is for all the people who can't leave a thread without trying to take the arguement with them to another thread or a new one.

The difference between being a mature poster and being a baby is being able to leave your emotions at the door.

Now some of you will never be able to do that. Its sad yes but its simply a reality.

The reason many of us on the Extremes (Czar, Elledan and myself for example) can remain friends is that we let our arguements and our fristration with each other's position die in that thread.

If a fun thread opens up and we enter it, there is no animosity in that thread and no arguement that carries from the last one.

So to the people who can't help but start a thread or join an existing one on either side of ANY issue, bite your tongue, take deep breaths and grow the hell up.

We are here to debate and have fun. Don't ruin it just because you have an axe to grind with one member.

I agree and its getting worse and worse now. I just wish we could stop the flaming and just discuss things so we could all understand every side better, but not like that is ever going to happen

That's not true. In some threads I thought texmaster was an irrational **** (insert any four letter word), but in other threads I thought he was pretty funny and argued his point well.
 
i think the fact that some people need to call people morons and attack them just because they disagree in a thread, is a topic that needs to be addressed before this one.

excuse me? I think my point is a valid one, the people that run this place decide posting guidelines ,if people aren't appropriate the post gets edited or the thread locked, systems seems to work pretty well from where I sit

Thank you! And many people I haven't liked in political threads can be DAMN funny in others.

I know I can be an ass in a political thread. Just as other can be. The test is can you leave it there and move on.

well i haven't noticed what you're talking about, but if people are actually caring about the debates, they have issues. i dunno, i just participate because it's fun to argue, imho...
