looks like the same junk you find at office stores. They usually claim retail is around $100+ and sell it for $50, or less with coupon/rebate. I'd hate to be the one idiot that actually pays list price on one of these cheap damn chairs. (Yes, I have one, from OD.)
 
anyone able to get the coupons to work? I found 2 different codes at a couple of different coupon sites, and you can get them to show up in the shopping cart, but there's no discount. when you click on the coupon in the cart, it says they're invalid...
 
anyone got a deal on a damn good office chair like the Aerons or the Leaps? i'm tired of these cheapos that get posted everywhere. doesn't anyone appreciate quality anymore??

I called their 800 number. enter the code (provided it's valid) ...I found 2 on the web via google

at the very end of the checkout process is a comments field. make sure to write them about applying the credit. CSR said it's not unusual.
 
lol, this chairs regular price seems to be about 25 bux😉 considerings its on "sale" so much hahahha!

the seat/back are leather sorta, the sides/back aren't. back support is kidna sucky.

Apparently not. 🙁

I bought my chair at Sams Club. Cost me 129 bucks plus tax. Most comfortable chair I've ever had. I wouldn't trade it for a whole boat load of these el cheapo's.

No doubt... I got some of these OD chairs for 30 bucks shipped... Had to spend about a half hour per chair putting it together. The second one goes together faster.

Anyway... Where are the quality ones? Do they even make them? I tried looking for Hermanmiller chairs on E-bay but they want an arm and leg for them. I can't see spending 5-600 bucks for a computer chair. Maybe we should make a DIY Biuld it yourself chair... I wouldn't mind spending 2-300 for a chair as long as it lasted and was comfy.

These chairs do suck if you spend more then a half hour in them. Over 3-6 months they flatten out and need a pillow. Other then that they do hold up and are better then wooden / metal chairs.

I've used the Leap at work and it is nice, but honestly it is hard to justify $750 to $1250 for it. I do think that the $129 chairs suck bad, but I think that someone should be able to make a decent chair for around $200-$250. Right now I am sitting on a $129 special myself and the bottom cushion has worn and it isn't great, but honestly for the money it isn't bad - I've never gotten a backache from it. In fact I have experienced fatigue after sitting on the Leap for a long time, and yes I did adjust the 20 different settings on the chair to get it to where I like it - but I won't blame the chair itself because it is a very nice and comfortable chair. Some of the $129 chairs are worse than others, and I think I somehow got a pretty decent one.
 
This chair is a POS. They end up in landfills in 3 years. I bought a 10 yr old steelcase on ebay for $75 and i have used it faithfully for 5 years, do yourself a favor and buy a real chair.

I need a chair and I am considering this, but all the chairs I have ever bought wind up breaking in a year or two ... even the "$150 on sale for $100" chairs from OMax or OD.
A bit off topic but anyone know of SOLID chairs in the $200 range?
 
I think with $200 you can pratically get a decent and cheap recliner from walmart. Some dude got a recliner and wireless keyboard and mouse that is so comfortable that he'd become part of the station. Read a book, or search the web on your recliner, it's wtg....
 
Anyone know what the official chair of 'office hockey' is.. I went to a site a looong time ago that had some really nice chairs but I can't remember the brand.. they even had a movie of people playing hockey in the office hehe.

Everyone has an Aeron where I work and these chairs are awesome. I wish I could find one for less than $500 but good luck.

Have you ever noticed how many TV shows have Aeron chairs in them?
