We have a nine year old that just kept asking over and over ?are you guys Santa??. Well, my wife finally caved and told her the truth. Our 9 year old daughter was devastated and cried for hours. How do you explain to one of your kids that you have been lying to them over and over for years and justify it? How did you learn about Santa, and how would you go about telling your own kids?

What do you mean the truth about Santa? :Q

I still believe :) and I taught my kids that a little Santa lives in the hearts of just about everybody and that if they did just one little thing to put a bit of magic out into the world that they would be Santa's too :)

Bah, 9 isn't too old.

My parents never told me...I just sort of figured it out, then my older sister confirmed it by showing me the math. :)

My parents opted never to tell me & my siblings that little lie.

It was always better that way, until one Christmas eve we took it upon ourselves to inform our cousins of the deception.

We pissed off a whole lotta people that night.

Correction, its Stan(ta) by Jeminem, a hilarious remake of Eminem's Stan. Friggin awesome...they've been playing it on a local alternative station but I can't seem to find it anywhere on google. or K@z@@

Wow, that sucks. When my parents tried to tell me I wouldn't have it. I figured it out really young, but I thought that admitting it would bring about a reduction in presents, so I pretended to believe even after they told me the truth:D

I made my mom tell me when I was 7. I just kept asking her over and over and over again. I kinda didn't believe before then anyway but that was why I kept asking her. She eventually caved too. She finally said "no, but don't tell your sister." lol....
