Learning how to transfer pics from android to pc

For some reason all the pics that ive taken with my phone dont show up when Ive connected the phone to the pc using a usb cable. The pics that ive tranferred to the phone from the pc do show up. Its just really strange. Ive looked in the pictures file and also the dcim file.

I mean tat what i would think as well but wherever that location is I juat dont know

What phone and what version of Android are you running? Are you using a different program when you take the pictures? Or maybe you've changed the default folder for the pictures? No secondary folder (like on mine there's a second folder under DCIM labeled Camera where the pictures are)? Maybe you have so many pictures that it just takes a while for them to show up? I didn't have many and yet the folder with them in it took forever to actually load them all so if you have a lot of pictures maybe its hung up trying to load the previews or something?

well I really dont see your problem if you can transfer the photos as it now why do you need to find them in the phone?

Try FTP server app. I use it and do all wireless transfers now by connecting ftp client on my computer to the phone. Less hassle than with usb cable.
