Learning Adobe CS3 i.e Illustrator/Photoshop mainly

Anyone know of a good source for learning these two software ?

I'm considering possibly taking some courses at a local community college, but if it's easier to learn through online tutorials or books, it would be cool too.

You could take a look at Lynda.com or maybe the new AdobeTV site has some tutorials.

Personally I prefer books, or books with videos that accompany them. I just like to have a hard copy to go back to instead of having to rewatch a video tutorial.

I got my foundation from using Classroom in a Book back at Photoshop 5. After that it was just doing things on my own. That's where you'll learn the most. You'll develop your own style and way of doing things rather than becoming someone who does the same thing every Photoshop tutorial out there taking away any originality in both concept and execution.
