Saw the chinese version of this long time ago. Amazing... for some reason when I do it.. it doesn't look as clean.

dude.. this is SO easy once you figure it out! Just got my laundry folded in about 1/2 the time it takes me normally...

Just watch the video a few times, works eventually with some trial and error

Is there any trick I should know about... I'm sorta fed up trying.

The only trick I see is when you fold the upper part of the shirt down to meet the bottom it gets a twist at the last moment before bringing them together. At least it looks that way on the 2nd shirt example, I don't see it on the first shirt folding.

Well... a t-shirt is the easiest to do.

1. Lay it facing up... pinch it in the center off to one side (where the corner fold should be when you do it normally).

2. Grab the top of the shirt next to the collar (where the side would be folded) in a straight line from the first hold.

3. Now, take the hand from step 2. and grab the bottom end of the shirt (over hand used in step 1.)

4. Holding onto both ends from step 3., pull your hand from step 1. through.... so that it is now in front of hand holding the top and bottom end... This makes the side you started from done

The rest should be logical... just fold over, and you are done.

Iknow I sound confusing here, hope it helps...

/DISCLAIMER: This is not a translation as I do not understand a word of chinese. :D

I showed this to my wife months ago when this first surfaced... she said "so what" and proved to me she could fold clothes her way just as fast.

That is how i do it.
The first example in the video is the best.
Just be careful to use the right hands and have the shirt laying in the right orientation.
Try to mirror what she does.

looks good in theory but you need to put the shirt on a flat surface all spread down flat. takes more time to set it up and fold it that way then the way i usually fold shirts.

First time I have seen that and it was just too cool. Then again I am easily impressed.

an ironing table is good enough for putting it down. All you need is one side flat. Anyway, this works much better for me

Share her methods? Perhaps she's been doing it a while and thats why they're the same speed. One might be faster with the same proficiency.
