The deal works perfectly as I just walked out with a system 15 mins ago for $19.99 + tax. It took both coupons just fine.

Cashier will take both no problem. I suggest letting them scan the Target one first and then manufacturer's one but I am 99% sure it doesn't matter.

Not really. Basically they are books that come with a stylus. When you run the stylus over the words it reads the words/books for you.
