Just out of curiosity, since we're starting to get bigger and bigger phablets, at what point does it become unacceptable to take a picture with some device? Where's the cutoff point between perfectly acceptable because it's a phone and obvious social deviant who needs to be placed in a reeducation camp?
Acceptable? Who gives a shit what someone thinks? Who is the authority on such a ridiculous thing? Why would anyone care?
I gave a pretty clear cut example of where it does become a nuisance for those around you. Another would be at any kind of large event. I've seen people holding their phones up high to take photo and video, and I've also seen people do it with tablets. It's no fun being behind the guy using his iPad to film and take pics.
Nice iPad Air 2 presentation... then they say absolutely nothing about the iPad Mini 3 other than a few vague specs. You can see what Apple thinks of their cheaper tablet, haha.
I cant believe they cheaped out and didnt up the chip in the retina mini
Boo on the 16gb, but is the 32gb model gone now? I guess we're moving up slowly....
With that said did anyone catch the camera on the iPad Air? Didn't they say 1.1 microns?? That should make it better than the iPhone camera?
and iPad Mini ($250) are all staying.
Obviously Apple doesn't want to repeat that situation again. Kind of a shame.

They are still going to sell what is basically an iPad 2 in 2015?
My only Apple machine that is feeling even more smug is my 2009 13 inch MacBook Pro, which gets the full fledged Yosemite 10.10 today.
So what the the consensus here for family recommending? It seems to me the Air 2 is maybe the best iPad since the iPad 2 if it really has 2GB of RAM, while the Retina iPad Mini 2 should sell like the Fire phone?
