Leaked Emails: Sarah Palin Doesn't Give Out Endorsements for Nothing

This is how it works. The reason it's news is because Miller not simply giving his endorsement for his endorser Palin is so unusual.

The problem is that Miller saying how great a president Palin would be actually influences some people's opinions.

As far as 'corruption' goes, Palin and Miller endorsing each other for power, not 'sincere' opinion, is one of our smaller concerns.

It is rather funny that the left is basically making Palin wealthy and giving her more power. By obsessing over her they keep her name in the news and make people pay attention to her, thus giving her more power and leverage to make money. If they'd just ignore her she'd fade away.

Palin is getting wealthy because of all the idiots on the right giving her money

I think Miller has to remember that he won Rep Nom. on the endorsement of Palin, so as a return favor he does need to praise her more. That's politics, you rub my back , I rub yours.

Maybe Poker Guy is not the first or last person to make that totally absurd argument but let me be the one to debunk that myth and pound a wooden Stake into the heart of that vampire.

Its not liberals who are eating up Palin's drill baby drill swill, its not liberals voting for Palin and her tea bag lightweights candidates, its not liberals buying Palin's books and making political donations that keeps Palin cash coming in, its like 99.9 % of radical right GOP voters who support Palin. And if Palin can split the GOP vote, well that is about all she is good for.

As for me, Palin is a really good reverse barometer, what ever she is for I seem to oppose. Palin's problem is that too many sensible Republicans agree with me.

Meanwhile, someone anyone take Todd Palin's wife and try to see if you can somehow
show her own stupidity. It may be as fruitless as calling a chair stupid, but Sarah Palin would make your average Pet rock look ever so much smarter than she is.

I'm merely pointing out the hypocrisy that is the Tea Party. We're not like the politicians in Washington now, we won't do the things they do, we're all about the average person, etc.

They are no different, period. If you can't see that, then you need to take the blinders off.

Stomping on ant nests again. Works every time.

Pooh-pooing the attacks on Palin doesn't make her look any prettier, nor does it make her look like she suddenly found some integrity, nor does it make her look like yer average politician, because she isn't any of the above.

She's a freak....a product of the disaster that the repubs brought upon themselves during the free-for-all grab at the treasury that Bush instigated and promoted for eight years.

She is a fetus that got aborted when the repubs tried to extend their money grab in '08 and got humiliated at the polls.

She is the looney neocon relative that the repubs tried to hide in embarrassment after she proved herself to be an incompetent liability in the '08 elections.

She is a constant reminder to the repubs how badly things can get when what goes around comes around.....with a vengeance.

She is anything but "normal" as the righties are now attempting to make her out to be.

Nice try though...

So now we see that Palin did not endorse him because she thought he was the best candidate, but because she thought he could be useful to her. And if he is not useful in all of the ways she deems necessary, she can simply discard him.

Her "my way or the highway" attitude is just so refreshingly new to politics. Gotta love it. It's "throw the bums out; embrace the new bums". lol

Her expectation of gratitude and reciprocity in no way indicates Ms. Palin's endorsement lacked sincerity, it merely denotes her humanity. Are we not even more hurt if we admire someone who does not show appreciation for our efforts on their behalf?
I would expect similar reaction from any politician of any party at any level.

Last time I checked a private citizen entering into a deal is a lot different than horse trading between elected politician who were elected to look out for the publics best interest.
Bwhaha... you can try and justify the backroom deals anyway you want.

😀

CallMeJoe

So, you would have me believe that her dedication to her cause is superficial and easily trumped by hurt feelings? That her tough as nails, momma grizzly persona is a fake?

I can't wait till reporters start asking other Republicans the same question. A lot of them view her as a loose cannon and may see this as a way to make her self-destruct.

I'm just saying that there is no real evidence of Half-Governor Palin's insincerity in her endorsement of Candidate Miller. If anything, one might argue that Mama Grizzly would be inclined to strike back with great vigor in the face of a perceived betrayal.

It is also worth noting that these vitriolic epistles originated with the "First Dude" rather than with the Half-Governor herself; we don't know how closely the Half-Governor supervises the activities of her lesser half.

As for your last observation, I have frequently noted in this Forum that for all the comments about Liberals' attempted destruction of future Candidate Palin, it is in the Snake Pits of Republican Candidate Debates and the Cesspool of South Carolina Politics that poor Saint Sarah of Wasilla will find her doom.

So if this "left" you mention stopped paying attention to Ms Palin, the Tea Party and the GOP would ignore her too? I did not know the "left" had that much influence.

Ahahaha, oh my...

So where are all the frothy mouthed teabaggers over this clear issue of 'back room dealing'?? With the frequency of those claims used by Palin, you'd think she wouldn't resort to it. One would also think her supporters, so quick to take up the issue before, could bring themselves to at least address it with lame denials.

And what's this? A candidates spouse playing a role in a their PR campaign? Where are the frothy mouthed teabaggers on that? With all the scorn thrown at Hillary recently for Bill's continued presence in teh limelight, they look like bigger aholes than normal. Wow.

Yet more wood on the pile that is teabag hypocrisy. Please, do reload that some more!

I have a slightly different take here because I think Palin is simply trying to assert pecking order dominance.

1. First Palin endorses Miller. The gift of a Queen to a commoner.

2. Then when Miller does not fall to his knee's to praise Palin longer and harder, both Todd and Sarah Palin feel Miller has not responded properly to their generosity.
Because the pied piper from Wassila leads the parade and lesser lights must follow
her lead. Its her way or the highway pecking order that is simply being established here.

It looks like someone was expecting quid pro quo and it did not happen.
