No, it states that it just happens more often with an nForce board. Did you read it?
Well which is it? The Nforce or the video card? It's connected to nForce chipsets and newer nVidia vid cards.
And is this problem possible to duplicate, or is this one guy who probably has a power supply issue?
I have a Geforce and a Nforce, and I've played AC on this rig as well.
Also on a NF2 and GF3 and GF4. I've never encountered this bug with this game.
Like I said, is this something Nvidia can duplicate? Is it in their "known issues" section of their readme?
Basically, is this credible at all?
Theres legitimate complaints that dont stem from malfunctioning hardware, and then theres a zillion "bugs" out there from a bad hardware combo or poor quality components (usually RAM or PSU is the culprit).
Please tell me how I can duplicate this Geforce "video driver issue" with my rig guys.
I'm serious, I have the game.
Lets either be honest, and up front about this issue and prove it is not malfunctioning hardware or post a legitimate bug.
If I can duplicate it, I'll eat my hat.
Edit- BTW, you can duplicate the Sacrifice bug. Just a FYI. 🙂
You are side stepping the issue. Changing the subject or going off in another direction doesn't make your statements anymore true. Just because a manufacter does not admit something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist... But according to you, unless nVidia admits it, it doesn't exist. But alas, you are just trying to blow smoke.
Yeah that was one question of many I asked in that post.
But is it something that can be duplicated? If it is, it would probably be in Nvidias readme.
Tell me what I need to do to get my machine to duplicate this, and you will be correct.
The Sacrifice issue can be duplicated by anyone, easily. Its a clear and obvious ATI driver bug.
Again, you are side stepping the issue. The smoke detecters are going off like crazy. I guess you are having a hard time accepting the fact that nVidia have driver problems too. You havn't even commented on the shimmering issue, yet that is a glaring flaw in the drivers themselves. So...? What is your defence of that? Even though the shimmering does not personally bother me that much, what would be the excuse for them launching such a product before it was fixed? Perhaps, maybe the company is fallable? I think so.
Edit ** What about the Far Cry issue?
