Yes and I thought that Neweg listed on there refurb area that these are not intended for dealers? Hence that they don't get wiped out by one guy. I know I am a dealer who will take advantage of good offers but when the vendor specifically states not too I go to other resources. There are planty of them out there to choose from.

This should be the vendors responsibility. Where's the morality in sales, I haven't seen much at my job so far. Only thing I've witness is refusal to deal damaged goods; and that is more to cover their own a$$ than anything else.

I have purchased several refurbished motherboards from NewEgg, and have always gotten the extra accessories, and actually, the stuff looked brand spakin' new, and sealed. Looks like a great deal to me...

my theory is like this,
1)when you see quality are like 1, they are just return from customers. newegg do not check them and just sell it refurbished.

2) when you see quality > 1, and from manf. like (ECS, EPOX, BIOSTAR, ASUS) etc they are true refurb by manufacturer
Asus mb ususally in white box.

ECS, EPOX, BIOSTAR mb are refurb by manufaturer but they repack with new cds, manuals and cables. (so they are with new bags...) (but if you look at the board, they indeed are used)

not sure about Leadtek. (may be they are same as ECS, EPOX and BIOSTAR that pack the additional stuff in)

MSI and gigebyte are always cards/mb only. so i think they are refurb too.

JoeFoster, may be is a return type?

they had 8 available when I first check. newegg told me those are the same as the one they sold as deluxe just without all accessories. i think those are ture refurbished units.

bought it at 54 dollars i think, i like it, it is nice to have in the comp, would have been nicer to get it for 29, oh well, cant win them all, congrats to all the lucky people, but remember they did take a risk on getting just the board, i havent even used the remote or anything but the card as of yet

Leadtek must of sent newegg back brandnew ones as replacements. I think this is a hot deal.

Don't you get it? These aren't refurbished by Ledtek. These are customer returns. If a customer returns one and hasn't opened it they still sell it as a refurb. If the customer opens it, runs it over with their car, then sets it on fire and then returns it newegg also sells it as a refurb. Newegg has somewhat ok prices and great customer sevice but they are still a very underhanded company. If you're buying new products then go for it. If you're buying refurbished then realize that you're taking a big chance with an underhanded company.
