Sorry, I know this has been asked a few times, but I just can't find the answer now. What is the difference between the 3 Leadtek capture/tuner cards: Expert/Basic/Deluxe? If someone can tell me why I'd want one over the other versus price I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

I just got an Expert, as far as I know, the difference is that the Expert has a 10-bit Video Decoder while the other two have an 8-bit encoder. Both the Expert and Deluxe come with more cables and a remote. Well worth the money for the Expert I think. The PVR works like a champ, and video quality is excellent! When you're spending so little on a card, plop down an extra $20 or so for one with all the features and software....you won't regret it.

Expert has a 10 bit encoder(CORRECTION: DECODER), Deluxe has 8.
The regular one has no remote

Expert has a 10 bit DECODEr (you'd have to pay quite a bit more to get a card with an encoder on it). Sorry, I'm not trying to call anyone stupid, I just wanted to make sure this guy didn't think he was gonna get an encoding card.

I can attest to the Experts goodness. Decent picture quality, nice features, and slick interface. The expert is well worth the extra $.
