Actually this is the stripped down version. It has 8-bit DACs where the real TV2000XP and other nice tuners have 10-bit. I noticed a difference. This also probably has mono sound which is incredibly annoying compared to the stereo audio you get with the non-stripped down version.

If neither of those bother you, then $10 is a good deal.
