Leadtek TV2000 XP audio problem - Please help

Hi. I got myself a new TV2000 XP and it is having this problem.

The audio from the Audio Out of the card will automatically stop working (no sound) about 4 minutes of using the card. The only way to reset it is to switch the input mode from one to another (e.g. from Live TV to video in or any way around).

I have 100% insolate the problem to the TV card itself. There is nothing wrong with the SB Audigy 2 that I have. I have tried reinstalling the latest driver from Leadtek website and moved the card to other PCI slots.

Could this be a hardware problem? Thanks.

I know when I got mine I had trouble with the sound. I read the main instructions and followed them...it would only play music not record it. After much searching I found a tiny little paper in the box that said you had to put a 1/8" stereo to 1/8" stereo plug from ...like the line out to the microphone...or something like that...just double check you have your wires connected right and that you didn't miss a wire connection. A lot of people had this problem that I know of.

Ha! I isolated the problem. It seems these two programs doesn't agree with each other:

WinFast PVR application (WFTV.exe) & Symantec Systemworks 2003 Anti-Virus (CCAPP.EXE)

It seems like every 2 minutes the Anti-Virus did something and it will shut off the WinFast TV audio out. I hope that both companies can solve this problem.

Can anyone that has both this program to see if this is a repeatable problem? Thanks.

I do not have this problem but I have seen it in other soundcard before when recording. This is usually caused by an hardware conflict with IRQ. Have you try moving it to a different PCI slot?
