Leadtek TV2000 XP and Cox Cable (digital upgrade area)

Does anyone have the Leadtek TV2000 XP Deluxe and Cox Cable service?

My area is digitally upgraded, but I don't subscribe to the digital service. My cable-ready TVs work without the set-top boxes, but I can't receive a signal on my PC's TV tuner card.
Using Leadtek's software, I've tried USA Cable, Cable (HRC) and Cable (IRC.). I can't manage to get anything but static. Physically, there's an A and a B line, and my cable modem uses the B line, while I think the TVs use the A line. I've tried plugging both the A and the B line into my PC, with no luck. I'm going to try one of the set-top boxes tomorrow.

Any help would be most appreciated.

I have the same TV card and cox cable. Make sure in the configuration menu that TV source selected is cable. You shouldn't need the set top box unless you want to watch the digital channels on your PC. Trust me.. make sure your TV source is cable and do a scan so that the tuner will pick up all channels.

Source is set to cable. Which line are you using, the A or the B? Also, are you in an area that has been digitally upgraded? Thanks.

I'm in a digital Cox area. It seems like they've moved all program to the first coax connector (i.e., you no longer need the bottom). Both the digital, analog, and ISP feed are available on that one line.

With that said, you will probably only pick up the analog feed (without a true digital cable TV card) and thus, you won't get any channels abouve 125.

Okay, I figured out that the splitter and cables were somewhat faulty, so I can get a picture and sound with the modem's physical line; the channels numbers just don't correspond to the 'correct' ones.

I'll try the TVs' physical line when I get a long cable. As a plus, I can get some channels that I'm not supposed to have 🙂
