Leadtek TV tuner

I have recently installed an old TV tuner, WinFast TV 2000XP Deluxe
Video is fine except that the sound only works for the first 2 minutes since I open the software.
To turn it on again, I have to close the software and re-open it again (which will only work for another 2min).
Also it changing the Audio-Out control line doesnt seems to have any effect on the sound output. Say..., I chose SPDIF-in for the Audio-Out. I could still hear the sound even though, clearly, I didnt use any optical cable.
Any ideas what might be the cause of this?
I have another software installed for viewing the TV output, ASUS digital VCR. Could it be, by any chance, be causing the problem?
BTW same thing happen on the asus software.

Do you have the latest Leadtek drivers/software installed for that card? There were new drivers and software released on 3/18/04 and I've no problems with it so far.

Yeah... i've installed it using the drivers from the web that I've just downloaded yesterday.
Is there any other approach?
