damn, that thing is right behind KT266A reference board's tail! Even in some cases it performs better. Coule this prove that ECS is a good motherboard maker after all?

The eye can be misleading.

Those graphs are misleading. Some use a huge scale, some use a scale of (literally) 1 point by 1 point -- such that in some cases, the difference might only be 1.0, but it looks like 75% when you are just looking at the bar graphs. So look carefully.

Looks impressive, though, certainly.

Board looks nice. I can't believe how poorly they make benchmark graphs at that site though, terrible. It should be an Internet rule that you need one corse in statistics before being allowed to publish anything. :)

Too bad this board came just a little bit too late in the ball game, a dollar short and a day late! Now tht KT266A are on the market, this one has yet to make it. I'll go with a KT266A even before thinking about this ECS, especially it's priced more than the Shuttle AK31. r3.1.

I'm suprised! Leadtek certainly has done their homework. This will be an interesting board for sure.

I noticed many people are now automatically associating SiS735 = ECS.
This is not the case, others can and will make SiS735 boards. And better than ECS would (possibly). ;)

Okay, I'm interested but where can I buy a Leadtek board? I've never seen any vendor at my local computer shows ever carrying them.

Do you actually know what "shmuck" means? I had a Jewish kid explain it to me once (and I quote): "A shmuck is what is left on the table after a circumcision." Actually, it does sound like Mastertech.

Anyway, the board looks pretty good... though I dont know if the board will be worth the extra 40-50 dollars. Time will tell

This board is definately faster than the K7S5A. If it arrives soon it's going to be my next board. The ECS board is too picky with components.

Why is it that reviewers who get their hands on a SiS 735 board with more overclocking options than the ECS K7S5A totally ignore overclocking? That Leadtek board is supposed to have adjustable Vcore/VIO/Vmem, multipliers and FSBs in 1MHz increments, and that preview doesn't have a single word about how the board overclocks. Digit-Life did the same thing with the now-discontinued MSI K735Pro.

I second WetWilly's opinion. How can they call themselves OCWorkbench when they didn't even try and overclock the board... The KT266A has amazing overclocking potential. That is the route I am going unless this Leadtek board can produce similar results at a lower price.
