Some of you are interested in this fact.... the dell 2005fpw looks beautiful on a GF4 DVI@1650x1080.

No dead pixels, no backlight problems on this one. If someone thought there was, they'd have to be extremely anal.

Best investment I've ever made on PC hardware... big bright beautiful. I turned the digital vibrance up a little bit because I'm a Nvidia DV whore.. just a 'lil bit.. in the "low" range and this monitor is stunning. I think it doesnt get as much praise as it deserves..

we'll see soon as Anandtech's review is coming soon..

also i see what ppl are complaining about on the backlight (you can see the light coming through from each of the 4 corners), but it doesnt bother me at all.. you only see it when theres black and since its uniformly coming from all the corners its fine IMO.

but the uber anal should stay away and stick with CRT..

bump for the evening... alot of ppl were wondering about these old cards.

also, resolution scaling is superb with a nvidia card. i cant vouch for ati but all i can say is i cannot tell the difference from the native.

Thanks for the info, I was wondering about my PNY G4 ti4600 and the DVI. Supposedly they have a 1600x1200 limit on DVI resolution, but apparently that isn't the issue if you're running 1680x1050 on that older card.

Now should I take the plunge and get one, or......
