I know the KT266A boards are a lot more popular than the Sis735 now, but I was waiting for this board for awhile. Newegg has them in stock for a measly $103 shipped. They are extremely "tweakable" and even fully support the correct dividers for 166mhz and 200mhz FSB operation...right in the bios. This is also the first DDR board I've seen with AGP and Vio voltage adjustment. When I receive it and get it up and running, I'll post a mini review. :) Anyone else got this board yet?

Do post your findings. I'm waiting for the SIS 745, especially the Abit KS7A but I guess the performance will be almost similar.

Pretty excited about it INsane3d??? I like my first experience with sis and the 735 chipset...Don't seem to miss all the 4 in 1 updates with via...I went from 4.27's all the way up to 4.34's before I was done with my via board...I only updated the agp driver once for the sis board and I had no issues without it...

PLease pm me when you get the review up...I may ask for that for christmas from my wife...What hsf would you recommend for my 1.4tbird that I want to try to hit 1600mhz with...I would like to go with 80mm fa if I could keep sound to a minimum...LMK

performance is not my number one concern :p

as long as its as fast or faster than amd 761 chipset then i dont care. I prefer stability :D

Well...I already have speed and stability with my Epox 8KHA+ KT266A based mobo @ 160mhz FSB... but I wanted to try this board out for one of my other systems... It will probably replace one of my Epox 8K7a+'s... :)

Wow...nice job. I think you may have too much free time man..;)

BTW - Are you saying this should be locked? (Hence the lock symbol)

There's no SDRAM slots on there only DDR, right?

Damn, I'd get it, but I don't have any spare DDR right now. :(

Good luck to Insane3D. I ran into a hell of memory compatibility problems with 7350KDA. The only stable DDR RAM it works with is Kingston with Nanya modules. And it sucks at overclocking. The voltage regulator never gives the overclocked CPU enough voltage when under load (e.g. Prime95 torture test).

Now I'm selling mine and will change to nForce.

SH!T.

it's out!

sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet...

now I have to see if these dividers are for real! please post your findings Insane!

then after that, I have to worry about compatability problems :-(

this board has support for the internal diode for finding CPU heat right?? no firewire if I remember correctly (due to being on the 735 chipset.. sheesh I hope leadtek makes a 745 chipset!).

No, sorry, I was just seeing if I could get the same image as another guy got in his thread. The other guy wanted his locked, and made that image.

The only stable DDR RAM it works with is Kingston with Nanya modules.

And it doesn't work with Crucial RAM? That would be pretty bad if you ask me, but somehow I just don't believe that.

Leadtek isn't new to the motherboard market, they've made other boards before, although I'm too lazy to find a link for you.

Hey Insane, plz keep me posted. I'm right now debating which mobo for a xmas upgrade. I'm considering Shuttle AK31 r3.1, ECS' new K7S6A or maybe Leadtek's 735 board. So, I'd appreacite it if u kept us posted. Thanks!

Looks at my K7S5A and sighs. :( I wish I held out just 3 months before the upgrade bug bit me in the ass.
