It's the Leadtek A400LE Geforce 6800LE 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X. Do you think I would be able to unlock the rest of the vertex/pixel shaders using RivaTuner? Has anyone successfully done it?

How do I do it and which version of Riva Tuner do I need?

Thanks guy,

NO,

The only LE that used the Ultra core/PCB/Memory was made by EVGA.

Boy, those sold fast,

That one only has 128mb of ram, 8 pipelines, and DDR1 (I think)

Your better off with a vanilla 6800 which can be found for less then $200 these days.

By the way, I believe the chance of unlocking the vanilla 6800 is 50/50.

Even if it doesnt unlock, its still a good card and a whole lot better than that LE.

If your on a real tight budget, grab a 6600gt.

You can unlock that 6800LE to 6800NU. If you're lucky, 16/6.

As for brand of 6800NU, I recommend Leadtek. Excellent cooling, good analog 2d, and great software bundle.

Now I CAN unlock it? Someone said earlier that I couldn't. Which is it?

Can I get a link to a 6800NU that has a good chance of unlocking?

Thanks,

I read all that, but I still don't know which brand to get. I heard Gainward, XFX, eVGA, and BFG, but which has the highest unlock rate? Are all of them just the regular 128MB cards with regualr DDR, or does it have to use DDR3...I'm confused :(

That's a good one, WRC. Plus, the brand doesn't matter when determining which unlocks and which doesn't.
