I have an easy question for you all.....is the Leadtek 6600GT AGP single slot????? i don't know if all 6600's are single slot and i am planning on getting one for a Shuttle sn95g5 build so i need a single slot and i am just confirming because i can't find the info anywhere. Thanks all

Anyone happen to know where i can find this card in stock....newegg and ZZF are out....just wondering and thanks...i just didn't know if the HS would be too big

are u intent on getting the leadtek? becuase if not there are LOTS of companies that newegg has in stock.

and btw, almost all the low, mid and high-mid cards are single slot 🙂

No, 6600gt is 128 bit while the 6800 is 256 bit. They will perform fairly close until you turn on some eye candy, then the 6800 will be smoother.

6800 is slightly faster at high resolutions with AA/AF on, but not enough to warrant $100 more. The 6600GT is the better buy.

Unless of course you can get a 6800 at the same price as a 6600GT...

Case in point the $250 buck BFG 6600GT costs the same as the Outpost.com BFG 6800.

But if you're paying $250 for a 6600GT, you're getting ripped off. Various good brands (Chaintech, Leadtek, etc) can be found for under $200 on Newegg and ZipZoomFly.

^What he said. If you can find a 6800 at $250 or less, I'd say get that - its probably the better deal at that point. And with those extra pixel pipes, it'll probably open up a little bit more in future games.
