I haven't seen anyplace selling Leadtek 6600GT AGP WinFast A6600 at all yet. Just checked all i could find was places in .au taking orders for it @ $350.

I don't think you'll see much performance increase with a Geforce 4 Ti4200 over a Radeon 8500. My 8500LE gets about the same 3DMark 2001SE scores as my Geforce 4 Ti4200, perhaps a bit less.....

I am in the EXACT situation. GRRRR!!!!

i got tired of waiting...played hl2 on low texture quality, and pretty much low everything...surpriseling, the game still looks great with med texture and without aa and all that fancy stuff.

and it's a damn fun game, even without all that eye candy...i couldn't wait.

what happened was...i just wanted to play a little bit to see what it was like, before all my upgraded gears come in...and i got so addicted that i couldn't stop. so i ending beating the game in two days...

crappy part is i pretty much upgraded my computer just for half life 2...now i've beaten it and the parts are supposted to be here in a couple of days...

oh well, i still had fun...but it just seems so pointless that i upgraded...haha
