Le Eco

I hope it supports otg. For some reasons some Chinese phones don't support it! Not a huge deal breaker but very annoying

I want to like the Pro3 but even at $300 I can't really justify it compared to the Axon 7. Mostly because no OLED and while it does have stereo speakers they are both at the bottom rather than facing forward.

The cheaper one looks very enticing if it will be available at $150. It could replace my Nexus 5.

10nm snapdragon 830 early next year rumors make me want to wait but they'll probably be in flagships well before midrange options, just like this year, right?

I'll probably flip mine on swappa after a few weeks if I get the Pro3 for $299.

I just got a free swappa t shirt 🙂

I like that Le Eco and Huawei are bringing the heat (heh) with Samsung talking a brief absence. The pro 3 looks like an absolute winner.

That huge black border on the screen is a dealbreaker. Looks like a phone from 1999.

LOL, I was just going to jump in here to say that.

Look at that hands-on around the 1:50 mark. Those black borders are huge.
The phone itself is nice.
The same goes for the Asus Zen3 deluxe. Great looking 5.7" phone but those damm black borders.
Its also a deal breaker for me.

LeEco is doing a $100 dollar off sale today (they do these sales quite regularly in asia)

This making the s3 $149 and the pro3 $299.

How it works is prior to the sale you pre-register for a $100 instant rebate / coupon that you then use for the sale during a set time period. Except the sale is going on right now and you can get the rebate also right now

no real reviews of it anywhere from engadget nor gizmodo. only first impressions. the specs said thickness is 7mm. but in the impression videos, the phone looks much thicker.
i can wait.

If it's not good, will just sell it on swappa, looks pretty heavily skinned. Sort of planning on selling it 🙂

Sold out

Got the Le S3 for $160. The skin is horrible and the speakers have bad distortion. Ended up selling it to a friend.

With a stock Android ROM it would be a decent phone if you don't care about speaker quality. I didn't like how much bigger and heavier it was compared to my Nexus 5, but I'm sure that's something you get used to. Performance seemed great.

The Le Pro 3 should arrive tomorrow, will try a launcher or 2 see if it makes the phone more tolerable. Will flip it on swappa pretty quickly I suspect.

I'll be getting a pixel tomorrow too, it'll go on swappa as well as soon as I register it for the TMobile promo.

You know, for $299, it's not bad. Biggest complaints are the rear fingerprint reader, and it's a bit of a brick, but I could live with it.

Launchers fix the skin pretty well, seems everyone else does a better job with putting the settings on the drop down menus.

Is it really 7mm thin as mentioned in the specs? Video makes it look like 9 or 10 mm

It feels thicker than 7mm, the iPhone 7 + is 7.3, the Le Pro feels like 9-10mm. Not terrible, but feels thicker.

I'm really liking it, especially considering the price. Seems about as fast as an iPhone 6/6+, and that's plenty fast TBH.
