Hi guys and gals. I have to say, I started reading online because I am in the market for a new LCD monitor, and I have never been more confused or unsure of a purchase.
Firstly, I am looking preferably for something like a 20 inch widescreen. I am looking for something under 350.
I have seen a few models, such as:
Acer AL2216WBD

BenQ FP222W

LG L204WTX

Samsung Syncmaster 205BW

But I have found report after report of black light bleed - light bleeding in around the edges of the panel.
Now, I need some advice - a point in the right direction - is this a problem all lower priced 20 inch + monitors will have? Am I better off looking at a 4:3 or a 5:4 monitor, until the technology gets better? I just have no idea even where to look - and I'm unable to pay more than 350 CANADIAN for a monitor.
I should say, I would like it for some gaming, but mostly, documents, internet, and various multimedia tasks. And yes, I have read the LCD buyers guide - but as none of these monitors were mentioned, it wasn't as helpful as I'd hoped.
Thanks in advance!
