LCD

ok I just bought an X-blade case. It comes with an LCD screen that shows whether or not the fans are spinning or not(doesn't even show RPM's?). So anyways I installed it, and when the fans are connected to the poewr connectors from the LCD in order to show that they are working, the fan speed increases and decreases, causing my LED fans to go brighther and dimmer. My fan speed(noise) also changes alot.

Is this due to it being a peice of crap, or is there something i can do to fix it, when i run the fans hooked up directly to my psu they work fine...

Maybe the monitor is drawing power from the fans in order to probe if the fans are spinning or not. Does the lcd have it's own power cord? It probably does, so you might have to do some investigation as to whether there is a power draw from the fans or not.

ya the lcd has a floppy drive connector for power, and then there is a molex connector for both the system fan and hdd fan, and then a 3 pin cpu fan connector, so the fans get their power from the LCD, which gets it's power from a 4 pin fdd connector, I'm thinking there just isn't enough power to go around
