I am looking to buy an LCD monitor. i want a 17" ,something that can be used for almost anything, money is that big of a deal i just need somthing that look snice and has DVI and analong connection. I like samsung's a lot but am open to anything GOOD
 
I also just got the Viewsonic VP171B. It replaced my Sony G400. Besides the fact that the 171b takes up so much less space, the performance is just wonderful. I tried the ghosting test from monitorsdirect and the screen shows no ghosting at all. Actually, it is better than the results I got from the G400. Dvds look great and games look great.
