LCD vs. FD Trinitron

Other than the obvious weight/size advantage, should my next monitor be an LCD or an FD trinitron? My current crt (a cheap samsung 955df) has gotten very fuzzy over the years - I'll be doing video editing and lots of browsing so sharp text and accurate colors are very important.. Thanks guys!
 
I would say if you are into having great color, and absolutley no ghosting (i.e. you are a gamer that's into fast action games like FPS), go with a CRT. They are cheap, cheap enough that by the time comparable LCDs are available you'll have the money for one, and have enjoyed your Trinitron for awhile 🙂
