Hey I have and Westinghouse 32 lcd tv i got in December 07. I just noticed that on the right side of the screen about 3 inches in. The line is right at the edge when i watching a no hd channel and it 4x3 its right at the edge of the crop. What I want to know is has anyone had this happen to them before and is it somehting that they are going to have to take the tv and come back with it, can they fix it there or is it going to have to be replaced? I do have the extended warranty and the guy is coming out later in the week but i just want to know what i can expect. Should i never let my tv crop the image and have black edges or is this a rare thing and generally i dont have to worry about it?
Finally for 32 inch tv between say 500 to 800 ish what brands do you all like better ie sharp Aquas, Sony, Samsung or Vizio. So basically 3 question
1) What is the fix for my problem
2) Is the black vertical line a common problem when watching 4x3 materail on a widescreen tv
3) What 32 inch brand are good quality and reliable
