LCD Screen in side a Case!

Sup,

I am new to this forum, i am thinking of purchasing a 4' LCd Screen, (cant afford to go higher) and i am going to put it in my case. just wondering if anyone has already done this. Does it look Good? If yes or No does anyone have any picutres of it?

an no it wouldn't look any good unless you could see in the case

what i think would be phat is if you built it intot he side of your case instead of putting a window...

but then again, what the hell are you gonna do with a 4" lcd?

I thought it might be interesting to put one in the door of my plusview 1000. I havent figured out a use for it though. I thought of things like visulaizations from music and stuff. Another thing could be some custom temp/ system monitor.

its going in the front of my Pc.
I am going to use it as a small monitor, so i can play winamp and the visual stuff is shown on the 4'lcd

It's been done many times.. Easiest / cheapest way to do it is to get a 4" LCD Module that accepts NTSC video input and run it off of a TV out on a video card.. It's no monitor and text will look like crap but it'll do what you want it to.

LCD in the front of a Shuttle SFF PC. (granted it's a 7" TFT 800 x 600 LCD Monitor (~$400)) but you get the idea....
