LCD Samsung 913N : 19", 8 ms! Coming soon ?

Weird that they would release it under the N line (one of their cheaper analog only ones) and not the T or P or X.

I haven't been able to find much out about it other then its fast and being released in Europe. Suggested price there is 500 Euros ($665.76 at the moment).

That sounds pretty steep for an analog only one. Hopefully one with DVI is not far away. I would be interested in seeing a review by Anand on it.

Have you noticed that the guy how wrote the review used to be the one testing the LCD on Tomshardware? Alzieu.
No one knows another review of this display?

I've found another text about this display:
PCWorld : Samsung 913N

"Samsung Electronics, the world?s leading manufacturer of computer monitors has once again raised the bar in LCD. With a super response time speed of sub-8 milliseconds, the 913N is the fastest monitor in the world. This breakthrough technology will enhance users? lives like never before when playing fast computer games and watching DVDs".

It would be launched this month... in Australia :-(

hmmm............ 12ms to 8ms seems petty to me as seeing peolple with 12ms lcd's arentnt complaining of ghosting or smearing on even the fastest games and movies. And consider samsungs lcd priceing history this thing is prolly gonna cost over 800 dollors maybe 900 if they are feeling greedy. So if you ask me you will prolly sacrifice some quality in several areas to get that smoking fast 8ms which will be bested by a 5ms in a month or 2
