LCD Refresh rates....

I have a 17in CRT and was thinking of getting a 15in LCD.

When my CRT is set to 1024x768 @ 75Hz I can notice a flicker (Anything above, 80-100 there is no flicker)

If I get an LCD will I notice the same flicker if the Max res is 1024x768 @ 75Hz?
This is sprobably a tough question to answer, but basicaly what I want to know is if LCDs have the same "flickering" boundary lines as a CRT. (What refresh rates do you start noticing flicker at?

LCDs (liquid crystal displays) do not work the same way that CRT (cathode ray tube) monitors do. Suffice it to say that the method does not rely on the screen being redrawn so many times each second and so there should be no flicker at all.
