I'm building a system for a friend, and space for a monitor is going to be an issue.
I am looking at getting him a 17' LCD, and not looking to spend more than $220 or so. I know this somewhat limits me (I missed out on the Dell deal by minutes). He's not going to be picky about response time, and doesn't game.
Looking at newegg. I see a few LCD's I might be interested in.

Rosewill R710E $199.99
Fuji Plus PF-768 $174.99
I'm leaning towards a Samsung as I had a few of those at a job a few years back.
I'd do more research, but I'm buried in finals this week, and know little about LCD's.
