LCD pixel response speed doubled

minimized lcd response time to 6ms

but, is this technology near in the future?

lcd´s need also a better color reproduction which is poor comparing to a crt, nevertheless an improvement like this would push a lot of ppl to finally change their crt´s for an lcd once ghosting problem dissapears, gamers will definitively wellcome this.

6 must be very good. But even 25ms is not bad. My buddy has a 25ms LCD and even tho I can notice some ghosting, it really isnt bad at all. In fact id still rather have a 25ms LCD over my CRT as its not THAT much worse for gaming. 6 must be amazing tho:)

I won't buy it because I want my grays to show up gray and not green.

The day my LCD looks green instead of grey is the day it goes in for a RMA replacement ;),as to response times, that`s not the real problem with LCDs IMHO, non-native resolution scalablility is the worst problem with LCDs,however mine is not too bad but not as good as CRTs for obvious reasons, besides I`ve my CRT Samsung 1100DF as backup :D .

Good to see response times getting faster, however I can`t wait for OLED monitors to arrive.

OLED Info. .

That is quite a jump but I personally have found the color (e.g. green/brown tinges in shadows in games) and native resolution issues to be much more problematic than ghosting in these monitors.
