lcd or 19"?

guys,
is it time to upgrade to an lcd? is the extra price worth it or are crts still the way to go? I heard that the lcd's are alot better for your eyes

for the price of one 15" lcd, i can definetely get a quality 19" like the samsung 900nf but i'd like to keep my eyes from getting worse too.....I'm losing sleep over this one

can anybody help me out?
 
I personally couldn't use a small screen, so until the 18" LCDs drop in price significantly, I would stick with a 19" CRT.

Also, do get the full benefits of an LCD, you should have a DVI capable video card assuming the LCD supports this as well.
 
Stop losing sleep. I think you already know what the "right" answer is. My opinion is that the price of LCD's is still way too high. I've seen a few LCD's and they do look nice. However a 15" LCD is no match for a quality 19" monitor. You may go back to sleep now. Pleasant dreams. 🙂
