LCD noob here

Well after the dog chewed the VGA cable off my trusty old CRT ive decided its time to make the jump to an LCD screen. By budget is 300$ and I want a widescreen because I plan to play Xbox 360 games on it. I found this on Newegg but im not sure if its a good buy or not.

check out the buying guide sticky and the dell 2007wfp. ITs a little more money, but worth it for the HDCP compatibility. I almost bought it, and then I decided to go all out and get the NEC 20WGMX2

Yeah - I'm in the same boat. I'd like to see the dell 2007wfp @ $300. I'd make a buy then. Are there any coupon discounts or codes that bring it down in price?

Have you thought of how your going to connect your 360 to the monitor?

Oh, and get out to some stores that have monitors. Look at them, play around with the settings and see which one you prefer, see what you like about it.
