Does anyone know how durable LCD monitors generally are? Are they more likely to break, or less likely to break than a CRT monitor?
I ask because I'm debating on how important the warranty is on a LCD monitor.
I am currently trying out both a KDS Rad5 15" LCD monitor, and a Microtek c586p LCD monitor. Both seem very similar for text/photo quality and games. However the KDS has a well defined warranty stated on their own web page, and the Microtek says its a 3 year warranty, but does not state anywhere what all it covers.
The KDS I have has 3 stuck pixels (all noticable), and the Microtek has only one, that really isn't even noticable.
