LCD monitor vs LCD TV

Assuming similar cost, what's the benefit of people using 30" LCD TVs w/ DVI for monitors, instead of the 24" dell monitor?

Trade off is bigger picture, but lower resolution, anything else besides that?

Response times.

TVs tend to have much higher response times causing enormous amounts of ghosting in games. (some do not, however).

The Dell monitor is a 16x10, not a 16x9.
