Just curious if the mouse movement is supposed to be very slightly delayed in comparison to a CRT monitor, I got an lcd the other day to replace my old 19" trinitron, and the mouse movement is slightly behind, no different than any notebook computer, havnt had a chance to try other lcd monitors yet tho.

Any ideas? almost feels like i'm using a software curser instead of a hardware curser lol.

I've owned one for over a week and have noticed nothing. I've been playing alot of FEAR and if it lagged for me I think I'd notice. I'll do a closer check this evening. I do know this isn't a new issue.....perhaps the more recent drivers have addressed the problem since the original post.

I had the same problem and it drove me crazy at first. I then noticed the type of mouse I use has a drastic effect on the lag. When I was using a MX1000 mouse it was terrible (pretty annoying too since that mouse is the best feeling mouse I own), then I switched to a G5 and it the lag dissapeared. After that I switched to a G7 mouse to see if it was just cordless mice that were causing the lag, but there is still no lag. At this point I guess any mouse with a high dpi is the solution, so I keep my G7 at 2000dpi and have no problems now.

Just to make sure I'm not crazy I turned the G7 down just now to the lowest setting and the cursor feels like its floating around.. I turned it back up and its perfect again.

Rechecked my Sammy and there is no input lag. I have a logitech mx700 wireless mouse.

Kind of an off the wall question, but what kind of graphics card are you running? I saw a high resolution screen on a low end system and saw something similar... it was if the graphics card couldn't draw fast enough to keep up with the movement of the mouse...
